1. When an affiliate signs up, a referral link is automatically generated which includes the referrer ID, the default product ID, and a tracker ID. When a visitor visits one of these URLs, the referrer ID, product ID and tracker ID are recorded in a cookie on their computer. This cookie is set to expire in 90 days. Even if another affiliate refers the same customer to your website within the 90 day period, the first affiliate will still get the commission.

2.When the visitor fills out the request form, the referrer ID is recorded in a permanent cookie (expires in 99 years) and if the lead turns into a sale your ID will be listed under that sale and you will get the credit for it.
